ORIGIN STORY
Oh heyyy 👋
It's me, Sam(antha) again! And this is my ✨origin story✨.
I grew up in my grandma's quilt shop and first learned how to use a sewing machine when I was five. I would sit on my mom's lap and 'steer' while she manned the pedal - my legs were a little short back then (they still are, honestly 🙃)
One of my first jobs at the shop was crawling under the tables of the classroom, picking up errant pins and needles. With my keen eye and short stature, there was no one better for the job! We all start somewhere, right?
📸 Here I am with my very first quilt show entry, age 7
To absolutely no one's surprise, I have always been drawn to bold, vivid colors. In second grade, I declared hot pink and electric blue (or 'hot blue' as I liked to call it) my two favorite colors.
📸 Age 6(ish) with my heckin' amazing aunt, Linda - I was obsessed with that tie dye dress (and also squirrels)
Be as colorful on the outside as I know you are on the inside
